A Coverack Café with Generations of History
Brenda’s Beach Café has been part of life in Coverack since the late 1960s. Over the decades, it evolved from its original café roots into the village shop that became known for having a little bit of everything.
Today, Brenda’s has returned to where the story began — a welcoming seafront café serving freshly prepared breakfasts, lunches, homemade cakes and Cornish coffee, all overlooking beautiful Coverack Bay.
Now with the fourth generation of the family helping behind the counter, Brenda’s continues a family tradition that has been part of Coverack for more than half a century.

Where It All Began — 1966 Angela, pictured in 1966 outside her mum Brenda’s original shop and café in Coverack. A family business at the heart of village life, and the beginning of a story that continues through the generations today.
The Fifth Generation — The Story Continues
Bryher, the fifth generation of the family, keeping a close eye on the building works alongside her Grandad Hugh. More than 50 years after Brenda’s story began, the next generation is already making sure everything is done properly.

A beautiful place to sit and watch the world slowly wonder past and the odd fishing boat pulling in its catch while you drink a take away coffee from Brenda's.
